Born and raised in the remote Whitecloud Mountains of central Idaho, brothers
Gary and Micky Braun grew up singing and playing whatever instrument they could
get their hands on. Their simple lifestyle (no electricity, running water,
television nor telephone) provided them with lots of time to hone their creative
skills. Home schooling gave them opportunity to learn about life on the road, as
well. Their father, Muzzie Braun, was a full time musician and before the Braun
brothers knew it, they were in the music business too.

In January of 2002 The Motorcars moved to Austin, TX armed with an arsenal of
fresh songs. The Brauns along with drummer Shane Vannerson and lead guitarist
Joseph Deeb recorded their first independent CD, "Which Way From Here" which was
met with rave reviews. Micky and The Motorcars were off and running. 2004 saw
the release of "Ain't In It For the Money", another success. The Band reached
new levels of fame with the 2006 release of "Careless".

Although the band has evolved (current guitar player, Kris Farrow, replaced Deeb
upon his departure), they stay true to their roots and their dedication to the
creation of genuine and honest music. Big things are happening in 2008 for these
guys including the release of their 4th studio album, Naive. The title track is
a perfect example of what the album represents; thoughtful lyrics, rhythm and
lots of soul. This album has you immediately hooked and begging for more.
